Rezzan Hasoğlu

Born in Istanbul, she received her BFA with honors in Industrial Design from Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) and MA in Visual Arts and Communication Design from Sabanci University. During her studies at RISD, she took courses from the Brown University and did a study-abroad program at Speos Photography School in Paris.



She had internships at Şişecam, IKSV, Anthropologie and Orange Square Design. She worked at Koz Susani Design Studio in Chicago for design consultation projects including Foscarini, Design Within Reach, Verreum and Mitterteich. Subsequently, she worked at ATÖLYE Istanbul, a co-working space for multi-disciplinary professionals. She was also a teaching assistant for numerous courses at RISD and Sabanci University.



Her works which focus on memory and cultural heritage have been exhibited at Mamut Art Project, Ventura Lambrate during the Milan Design Week 2015, Tent London for London Design Festival and at her first solo show in Istanbul. Her thesis project Artisans In Istanbul (www.artisansinistanbul.com), aims to locate and document local artisans to find the best way to establish a community platform for artisans and designers. Thesis is available upon request. Rezzan is currently based in London, studying MA in Design Products at Royal College of Art.
