Sabrina Kraus López

Sabrina Kraus López is a London-based designer specialised in facilitating collaborations between designers and craft communities to develop sustainable, contemporary designs using time-honoured crafts.

Graduating from MA Material Futures at Central Saint Martins with a project focused on the status of handcrafts in Peru, she was commissioned by the British Council to lead the first Common Thread residency in Morocco with Berber weavers. Sabrina is currently working as a design consultant to master rug weavers of the Anou community in Morocco, cross-stitch embroiderers in Palestine, silk weavers in Iran and the craftspeople of the Wayuu tribe in Northern Colombia.
