Megan Collins

Megan Collins Jewellery is designed with the elegance of simplicity in mind. The pieces can be worn as everyday items or as special pieces for a specific occasion.
Megan Collins is a contemporary jewellery designer originally from South Africa, now based in London. She has a background in Fashion Design and a Degree in Fine Art from the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University of Port Elizabeth and a Diploma in Jewellery Design from the Vannetta Seecharran School of Jewellery in London. She works mainly in Sterling Silver, using sheet or wire as a starting point, however sometimes uses elements of gold or brass or oxidizes components to create contrasts. Most of her inspiration is drawn from natural forms, often ones that reflect her South African heritage. The business celebrated its launch in 2015 and hopes to expand over the years to come.
Each piece in my SUCCULENT collection begins by abstracting a natural form into a geometric shape and is then translated into silver, or gold plated silver. These pieces are functional art and are made to be worn and enjoyed, bringing the beauty of the natural world into our daily lives. Their simplicity welcomes a sense of calm and understated elegance.
