M6 Chair

M6 chair redefines the appearance of regular tubular steel chair forms. It is designed through the play and manipulation of the material, while considering proportions, ergonomics and transportation.

This chair is dismountable and held together by M6 socket head bolts. Once disassembled and packed into its box, ready for transportation, the overall dimensions of the chair are reduced by 66%. Not only is this chair dismountable – it also stacks – reducing the chairs footprint further when not in use.

The functionality of the reverse cantilever allows the seat of the chair to be easily lifted and placed onto a table without raising the chair entirely.
