We can no longer take for granted or ignore the vital systemic structures that support our lives. We must give our attention and appreciation to these operations so that they can sustain us into the future.
Re:Structure is a series of work that redefines the form of our daily objects to reflect the infrastructural systems that allow their use. Each piece embraces the normally hidden utilitarian nature of its inspiration, incorporating both form and function. Whether that’s the concrete pipes which bring us water or the packaging that transports our food.
All pieces are produced from slip casted porcelain with a food safe textured glaze.
