The table forms are made of constructed plywood bases and sheathed in hundreds of flattened bottle caps. Each cap was hammered flat and attached using nails. The surface of each table was finished with lacquer and an epoxy resin top. The concept was to overlay a conventional modernist form with a craft or folk art sensibility. The side tables were inspired by experiences using Facebook Marketplace.
