Totem Light

The Totem series endeavors to revive the rituals of Shamanism and ancient tribes. In contemporary times, despite the passage of centuries, we find ourselves still engaging in rituals reminiscent of those practiced by ancient tribes. However, these rituals have often become less significant and hurried. Totem aims to reintroduce the importance of our daily rituals, be it in the act of dining or even simple activities like reading a book. Visually inspired by Shaman traditions, where a piece of cloth is tied to a tree, and drawing from the ritual clothing of native tribes, the objects in this series reflect a rich cultural heritage.
With Totem, Nur continues her signature pursuit, evident in all of her work, to integrate culture with contemporary design.
