The Olta Carafe, designed for the Pasabahçe OMNIA Su collection, draws inspiration from one of Istanbul’s most familiar waterfront scenes—the fishermen who line the shores of the Bosphorus, patiently casting their lines into the water. Created under the theme of water, the design transforms this everyday ritual into a functional glass object.

The carafe’s distinctive stopper extends from the vessel and gracefully twirls downward, evoking the motion of a fishing line suspended above the water. At its end, the form subtly resolves into a fish-shaped silhouette, creating a playful yet elegant reference to the act of fishing. Through this sculptural gesture, Olta captures the relationship between people and water, celebrating the quiet moments of connection that have shaped Istanbul’s coastal culture for generations.

Balancing narrative and function, the Olta Carafe transforms a familiar scene into a contemporary object, bringing the poetry of the waterfront to the table.
