"Trancend" a solo exhibition by Form&Seek | Wasserman Projects

In 2023, marking a decade of practice, Form&Seek presented Transcend at Wasserman Projects in Detroit. Conceived as both reflection and forward projection, the exhibition brought together new works that articulated the studio’s evolving dialogue between craft, material experimentation, and contemporary production. The presentation introduced the Entwine rug series, extending investigations of interlaced geometries into textile form, alongside newly developed Ghost Mirrors, where distortion and hand-forged metal foreground material agency. The exhibition also featured a collaboration with Onni Ceramics, presenting plates whose graphic compositions mapped the table as a shared, spatial surface.

Transcend positioned the dining table, the floor, and the wall as interconnected planes—sites where pattern, reflection, and interaction converge—encapsulating ten years of research into how objects shape collective experience.
