Strada Collection | Mudo Home & Idealist "Birlikte" Project

Strata explores the relationship between layering, texture, and use. Designed as a stackable collection of glasses accompanied by a matching pitcher, each piece nests seamlessly within the next to save space while forming a cohesive composition when brought together.

Flowing layered textures travel across the surfaces, creating a sense of continuity between the objects. Contrasting matte and glossy finishes reveal these subtle shifts through light, emphasizing the changing character of the glass throughout the day.

Produced using traditional glass-blowing techniques, Strata celebrates the fluid nature of molten glass and the traces of craftsmanship embedded within each piece. More than a serving set, the collection becomes a study of layered surfaces, light, and material expression—where individual objects combine to create a unified visual landscape.

Strata was developed as part of Mudo Home BİRLİKTE, a collaborative initiative bringing together contemporary Turkish designers, manufacturers, and retailers. Created in partnership with the İDEALİST Design Association, the project supports local production while creating new pathways for original design to reach wider audiences. Through this platform, designers are actively involved throughout the journey from concept to retail, fostering meaningful connections between makers, industry, and everyday life.
